About the Hartford Public Schools Foundation for Quality Education

We are a community-powered nonprofit investing in Hartford students through scholarships, classroom mini-grants, and enrichment programs. Since 1998, neighbors, educators, and local businesses have partnered with us to expand opportunity right here in Hartford Public Schools.

Our Mission
It shall be the mission of the Hartford Public Schools Foundation for Quality Education to acquire and distribute resources to Hartford Public Schools for programs and projects aimed at enhancing or supplementing learning opportunities for students, staff, and community.

Impact since 1998: Over $500,000 invested in Hartford students and schools — and every gift stays local.

How We Work
We’re a volunteer-driven foundation guided by a community Board of Trustees in collaboration with district representatives and partners.
